Hello and welcome to the Cowbar Nature website. It has been put together by some of the residents of Cowbar to provide information about the wildlife and natural habitat on the cliff top.
Here you will find information about birds, mammals, plants, grasses, fungi and invertebrates that are all found on Cowbar. We are conducting several projects including animal tracking and verge management to monitor the wildlife and create safe habitats so that different species can thrive here. You may have seen some of our mammal tracking tunnels on the cliff top.
Keep checking the website to keep up to date with the latest news and developments. We’ve now got a trail camera and hope to have some images to upload soon.
You can also use the website to contact us and let us know if you’ve seen any species at Cowbar that isn’t featured on the website or if you want to send us any lovely photographs that you have taken while visiting.
