(Laccaria Laccato). Usually grows between June and November. Often found in woodland but has been seen on the Cleveland Way.

Lepista (Clitocybe) saeva (field) or nuda(wood). They appear in late autumn / early winter when the temperature drops below 17 degrees and can survive frost.
